Oh the fun we had sweltering in the nearly 40 degree heat at the start of the day...only to find ourselves shivering & sheltering from the rain a few hours later. Thanks Victorian weather hahaha! No matter what Mother Nature threw at us the good vibes and energy never faltered. This day was jam packed full of family love and gratitude and song...the bride had her sisters, Mum and the Geelong Harmony Chorus sing her down the aisle. A walk down the aisle is emotional enough...this was just spectacular!
We did a first look in the stinking hot sun. Found the most amazing oak tree to provide a bit of shade in the back streets of Geelong. Then made our way to the bluff in Barwon Heads for a few more photos before the ceremony at the picture perfect At The Heads on the river mouth in Barwon Heads.
By the time we go the Coastal Kombi full of bridal party to the beach it had dropped nearly 15 degrees and was raining sideways...but hey...Victoria. We used the bluff as a wind block and got some portraits before we got some shelter before the ceremony. One thing you can count on in Victoria is the weather being a definite character in you wedding day. The best thing about it though it is provides such great variety when it come to your photos...4 seasons in 1 day means the most variety in light and clouds and all the delicious things that make our images different and interesting. I haven't even got to the sunset that night...next level...gold and pink and purple, ridiculous.
Once the cake had been cut with a sword....yup sword...we watch this beautiful couple dance the night away with all their nearest and dearest. Just as it should be. Magic.
